Sec. 122.355. HEMP TRANSPORTATION ACCOUNT. (a) The hemp transportation account is a dedicated account in the general revenue fund administered by the department. The account consists of: (1) civil penalties collected under this subchapter; and (2) interest and income earned on the investment of money in the account. (b) Money in the account may be appropriated only to the department for the administration and enforcement of this subchapter. The department may transfer money appropriated under this subsection to the Department of Public Safety for the administration and enforcement of that department's powers and duties under this subchapter, unless prohibited by other law.
