Sec. 122.034. APPLICATION FOR APPROVAL AND FEE. (a) A person desiring approval of a voting system or voting system equipment must submit a written application for approval to the secretary of state. (b) An applicant must include with the application an application fee. (c) The secretary of state shall prescribe fees for the submission of applications under this section in amounts reasonably necessary to administer this subchapter and compensate examiners appointed by the secretary.
