Sec. 12.094. RULES RELATING TO MEDICAL ADVISORY BOARD MEMBERS. (a) The executive commissioner: (1) may adopt rules to govern the activities of the medical advisory board; (2) by rule may establish a reasonable fee to pay a member of the medical advisory board for the member's professional consultation services; and (3) if appropriate, may authorize reimbursement for travel expenses as provided by Section 2110.004 , Government Code, for each meeting a member attends. (b) The fee under Subsection (a)(2) may not be less than $75 or more than $150 for each meeting that the member attends.
