COORDINATION OF CONSUMER PROTECTION ENFORCEMENT WITH OFFICE OF ATTORNEY GENERAL

Sec. 12.0205. COORDINATION OF CONSUMER PROTECTION ENFORCEMENT WITH OFFICE OF ATTORNEY GENERAL. (a) The department and the office of the attorney general shall enter into a memorandum of understanding to coordinate the enforcement of consumer protection programs.
(b) The memorandum of understanding shall require the department to communicate with the consumer protection division of the office of the attorney general to identify and avoid potential duplication of effort before taking final disciplinary or enforcement action related to consumer protection.
