Sec. 1121.117. CONSTRUCTION CONTRACTS; ADVERTISING FOR CERTAIN CONSTRUCTION CONTRACTS. (a) The board may enter into a construction contract on the district's behalf. (b) The board may enter into a construction contract only after competitive bidding as provided by Subchapter B , Chapter 271 , Local Government Code, if the amount of the contract is greater than the amount provided by Section 271.024 of that code.
