Sec. 1118.152. ADOPTION OF PROPOSED BUDGET: NOTICE AND HEARING. (a) The board shall hold a public hearing on the proposed budget. (b) Notice of the hearing must be published at least once in a newspaper of general circulation in the district not later than the 10th day before the date of the hearing. (c) Any district resident is entitled to: (1) appear at the hearing; and (2) be heard regarding any item in the proposed budget. (d) At the conclusion of the hearing, the board shall adopt a budget for the district that includes any changes to the proposed budget that the board determines are in the best interest of the district.
