Sec. 1118.110. CONSTRUCTION CONTRACTS. (a) The board may enter into construction contracts for the district. (b) A construction contract awarded by the district that involves the expenditure of more than the amount provided by Section 271.024 , Local Government Code, must be competitively bid as provided by Subchapter B , Chapter 271 , Local Government Code.
