Sec. 1103.051. BOARD ELECTION; TERM. (a) The district is governed by a board of five directors elected as follows: (1) one director elected from each county commissioners precinct; and (2) one director elected from the county at large. (b) Unless four-year terms are established under Section 285.081 , Health and Safety Code, directors serve staggered two-year terms, with the terms of two or three directors expiring each year, as appropriate. (c) An election shall be held annually on the May uniform election date, or another date authorized by law, to elect the appropriate number of directors.
