Sec. 109.168. FILING OF DOCUMENTS AND PAYMENT OF ROYALTIES, FEES, AND RENTALS. (a) All surveys, files, copies of sale and lease contracts, and other records pertaining to the sales and leases authorized in this subchapter shall be filed in the general land office and shall constitute archives. (b) Payment of all royalties, lease fees, rentals for delay in drilling or mining, filing fees for assignments and relinquishments, and all other payments shall be made to the commissioner of the general land office at Austin. The commissioner shall transmit all payments received to the board for deposit to the credit of the Texas Tech University special mineral fund as provided by Section 109.151 .
