Sec. 1084.051. BOARD ELECTION; TERM. (a) The district is governed by a board of seven directors as follows: (1) six directors elected by place; and (2) the chief of staff elected by the medical staff under Section 1084.063 . (b) Unless four-year terms are established under Section 285.081 , Health and Safety Code, the directors elected to the board serve staggered three-year terms.
