Sec. 1073.051. BOARD ELECTION; TERM. (a) The board consists of seven directors elected from the district. (b) Unless four-year terms are established under Section 285.081 , Health and Safety Code: (1) directors serve two-year terms; and (2) a directors' election shall be held on the uniform election date in May of each year. (c) The election order must state the time, place, and purpose of the election.
