Sec. 1064.115. REIMBURSEMENT FOR SERVICES. (a) The board shall require a county, municipality, or public hospital located outside the district to reimburse the district for the district's care and treatment of a sick or injured person of that county, municipality, or public hospital as provided by Chapter 61 , Health and Safety Code. (b) The board shall require the sheriff of Moore County to reimburse the district for the district's care and treatment of a person confined in a Moore County jail facility who is not indigent and does not reside in the district. (c) The board shall require the police department of a municipality located in Moore County to reimburse the district for the district's care and treatment of a person confined in a jail facility of that municipality who is not indigent and does not reside in the district. (d) The board may contract with this or any other state, the United States, or an agency or political subdivision of those entities to reimburse the district for the care and treatment of a sick or injured person.
