Sec. 1064.112. CONTRACTS FOR CERTAIN SERVICES. The board may contract with any state, the United States, an agency or political subdivision of those entities, or a charitable or other private entity inside or outside the district for the district to: (1) furnish a mobile emergency medical service; or (2) provide for the investigatory or welfare needs of district inhabitants or of persons for whom the public or private entity has an obligation to provide care.
