Sec. 1063.055. RUNOFF ELECTION. (a) If no candidate for a particular director position at a regular directors' election receives a majority of the votes of the voters voting in that race, the board shall order a runoff election. (b) At least seven days before the date of a runoff election, the board shall publish notice of the election one time in a newspaper or newspapers that individually or collectively have general circulation in the area of the runoff election. (c) Of the names printed on the ballot at a runoff election, the name of the candidate who received the higher number of votes at the general election of directors must be printed first on the ballot.
