Sec. 1059.115. POLICIES OR RULES ON INDIGENT HEALTH CARE. (a) The district may adopt, amend, or repeal policies or rules relating to indigent health care that include: (1) eligibility of patients for indigent health care; (2) application forms for patients or relatives of patients requesting indigent health care that may require personal and financial information to be furnished; (3) procedures for obtaining and completing applications for indigent health care and for filing the completed applications with the district; (4) procedures for reviewing applications to determine eligibility for indigent health care; and (5) other procedures provided by this section and Section 1059.116 . (b) The application procedure to determine eligibility for indigent health care must be adopted not later than the beginning of each operating year and must comply with Chapter 61 , Health and Safety Code.
