Sec. 1057.104. HOSPITAL SYSTEM. The district shall provide for the establishment of a hospital or hospital system in the district to furnish medical and hospital care to district residents by: (1) purchasing, constructing, acquiring, repairing, or renovating buildings and improvements for hospital purposes; (2) equipping the buildings and improvements for those purposes; and (3) administering the buildings and improvements for those purposes.
