Sec. 1051.102. ISSUANCE OF CITATION FOR APPLICATION FOR GUARDIANSHIP. (a) On the filing of an application for guardianship, the court clerk shall issue a citation stating: (1) that the application was filed; (2) the name of the proposed ward; (3) the name of the applicant; and (4) the name of the person to be appointed guardian as provided in the application, if that person is not the applicant. (b) The citation must cite all persons interested in the welfare of the proposed ward to appear at the time and place stated in the notice if the persons wish to contest the application. (c) The citation shall be posted. (d) The citation must contain a clear and conspicuous statement informing those interested persons of the right provided under Section 1051.252 to be notified of any or all motions, applications, or pleadings relating to the application for the guardianship or any subsequent guardianship proceeding involving the ward after the guardianship is created, if any.
