Sec. 1050.054. QUALIFICATIONS FOR OFFICE. (a) A person is not qualified for appointment or election as a director unless the person: (1) is a district resident; and (2) is at least 18 years of age at the time of the appointment or election. (b) A person may not be appointed as a director for a commissioners precinct unless at the time of appointment the person is a resident of that commissioners precinct.
