Sec. 1041.253. TAX ASSESSOR-COLLECTOR. (a) Except as provided by Subsection (b), the tax assessor-collector of Lipscomb County shall assess and collect taxes imposed by the district. (b) By majority vote the board may appoint a district tax assessor-collector under Section 285.041 , Health and Safety Code.
