Sec. 1038.051. BOARD ELECTION; TERM. (a) The board consists of seven directors elected from the district at large. (b) The board shall declare the results of the election. (c) Directors serve staggered two-year terms unless four-year terms are established under Section 285.081 , Health and Safety Code. (d) An election shall be held on the uniform election date in May of each year to elect the appropriate number of directors.
