Sec. 1034.115. REIMBURSEMENT FOR SERVICES. (a) The board shall require a county, municipality, or public hospital located outside the district to reimburse the district for the district's care and treatment of a sick or injured person of that county, municipality, or public hospital, as provided by Chapter 61 , Health and Safety Code. (b) The board shall require the sheriff of Hall County to reimburse the district for the district's care and treatment of a person confined in a jail facility of Hall County who is not a district resident. (c) On behalf of the district, the board may contract with the state or federal government for that government to reimburse the district for treatment of a sick or injured person.
