Sec. 1024.116. AUTHORITY TO SUE AND BE SUED; VENUE; NONWAIVER OF IMMUNITY. (a) The board may sue and be sued on behalf of the district. (b) An action against the board, the district, or the district's hospital system must be brought in Ector County. (c) This chapter may not be construed to waive the district's sovereign or governmental immunity.
