Sec. 1002.261. ISSUANCE OF LICENSE. (a) The board shall issue a license to an applicant who meets the requirements of this chapter on payment of the applicable license fee. (b) The license must: (1) show the full name of the license holder; (2) have a serial number; (3) state the license holder's discipline of geoscience; and (4) be signed by an appropriate officer of the board under the board's seal. (c) The issuance by the board of a license is prima facie evidence that during the term of the license the license holder is entitled to all the rights and privileges of a licensed geoscientist. (d) A licensed geoscientist may engage in the practice of any discipline of geoscience regardless of the discipline of geoscience stated on the person's license.
