(a) An individual's credit card information, debit card information, bank account and routing information, e-mail address, and telephone number acquired by the county trustee shall not be open for public inspection pursuant to title 10, chapter 7. (b) Notwithstanding subsection (a), the information made confidential by this section shall be open to inspection by law enforcement agencies, courts, or other government agencies performing official functions. (c) Information made confidential by this section shall be redacted wherever possible. (d) Nothing in this section shall limit or deny access to otherwise public information because a file, document, or data file contains confidential information. Added by 2015 Tenn.
