Qualifications to be instructor

To be eligible for licensing as an electrology instructor, in addition to the requirements of the registered electrologist, an applicant shall have: (1) Practiced electrolysis actively for at least five (5) of the last ten (10) years prior to the application; (2) Successfully passed an examination for an electrology instructor license that consists of written and verbal sections covering theoretical and clinical studies; (3) Paid an examination fee set by the commissioner; and (4) Submitted to the commissioner at least thirty (30) days before the examination is administered an approved form for application for license.
