(a) The board of medical examiners is authorized to promulgate regulations regarding the retention of physician medical records as defined in § 63-2-101(c) . (b) Notwithstanding any law or rule to the contrary, such retention of mammography records shall not exceed ten (10) years. Added by 2013 Tenn. Acts, ch. 113,s 2, eff. 4/12/2013.
