Each of the following constitutes a Class B misdemeanor: (1) The violation of any of the provisions of this chapter; (2) Permitting any person under one's supervision or control to engage in any practice of barbering without a valid certificate of registration issued by the state board of cosmetology and barber examiners; (3) Obtaining or attempting to obtain a certificate of registration for money other than the required fee or any other thing of value or by fraudulent misrepresentations; (4) Practicing or attempting to practice by fraudulent misrepresentations; (5) The willful failure to display a certificate of registration as required by § 62-3-118 ; and (6) Failure to comply with a lawful order of the board.
