Applicability and scope

(a) This chapter applies to travel insurance: (1) That covers a resident of this state and is sold, solicited, negotiated, or offered in this state; and (2) Policies and certificates that are delivered or issued for delivery in this state. (b) This chapter does not apply to cancellation fee waivers or travel assistance services, except as expressly provided in this chapter. Acts 2022, ch. 703, § 6.
