Unlawful operation of motor vehicle without human driver in driver's seat

(a) It is an offense for any person to knowingly operate a motor vehicle on the public roads or highways of this state without a human driver in the driver's seat of the vehicle unless satisfying the requirements of this chapter. (b) A violation of subsection (a) is a Class A misdemeanor. Added by 2017 Tenn. Acts, ch. 474,s 16, eff. 6/6/2017.
