Conducting of referendum - Voting - Qualifications

(a) Any referendum conducted under this chapter shall be held on a statewide basis. (b) Persons eligible to participate in the referendum shall include all producers engaged in the production of milk products on a commercial basis, who have been issued and possess a valid current producer's permit, or certification, issued by the department. (c) In the referendum, individuals so eligible for participation shall have one (1) vote per permit or certificate. Acts 1984, ch. 948, § 9.
