Application of certain criminal laws to contractor-operated facilities

The provisions of title 39, chapter 16, including, without limitation, § 39-16-201 and §§ 39-16-605 - 39-16-608, shall apply to offenses committed by or with regard to inmates assigned to facilities or programs for which a prison contractor is providing correctional services. Acts 1986, ch. 932, § 8; 1996, ch. 675, § 43.
