(a) The chief administrative official of a municipal, county, or state agency and the clerk of each court where the records are recorded shall remove and destroy the records within sixty (60) days from the date of the expunction order issued under § 40-32-101 . (b) The Tennessee bureau of investigation shall remove expunged records from the person's criminal history within sixty (60) days from the date of receipt of the expunction order.
