Messenger to bring county returns to general assembly

The general assembly may, if it becomes necessary, send a special messenger for the copy of the returns of any particular county deposited with the county clerk. The expenses of the messenger shall be paid out of the state treasury. Acts 1972, ch. 740, § 1; impl. am. Acts 1978, ch. 934, §§ 22, 36; T.C.A., § 2-812.
