(a) The chief executive officer, with respect to any housing accommodation which is the subject of an application for mortgage insurance under this chapter, may order any tenants temporarily to vacate the premises during the course of the rehabilitation, if the chief executive officer finds it necessary to have the premises vacated to proceed with the rehabilitation. (b) Any tenants who have been temporarily ordered to vacate the premises shall have the right of reinstatement therein, after the rehabilitation has been completed.
