Survey and marking of proposed stream boundaries--Filing of plat

When it is proposed to exercise the power granted by §
9-36-2
, the governing body shall cause a survey to be made of the proposed boundary lines and said lines to be marked upon the ground by suitable stakes or monuments, and a plat of such river or stream showing said boundary lines to be filed in the office of the auditor or clerk.
