Authority to create depreciation reserve for capital acquisitions

The governing body of any county may, by resolution, create a depreciation reserve within any proprietary fund which may only be used for capital acquisitions, not to exceed the accumulated depreciation of the fixed assets of the respective fund. If the specific purpose for which the funds are accumulated is no longer necessary, the funds shall revert to the general fund. These funds are in addition to those authorized by §
7-21-18.1
