Board of directors--Appointment and terms of members--Vacancies on board

The board of directors of the association shall consist of seven persons, each of whom shall be appointed by the director for a term of three years and until a successor has been appointed and qualified. The director shall consult with member insurers concerning their recommendations for the board of directors. Any vacancy on the board shall be filled for the remaining period of the term by a majority vote of the remaining board members subject to the approval of the director.
