Regulation of variable contracts by director--Rules--Review of contracts--Disclosure document

The director has sole authority to regulate the issuance and sale of variable contracts and promulgate rules to carry out the purposes and provisions of this chapter. The Division of Insurance may, upon request by the director, review the underlying investments in securities of variable contracts.
