Withdrawal of consent

A withdrawal of consent by a party does not affect the legal effectiveness, validity, or enforceability of a notice or document delivered by electronic means to the party before the withdrawal of consent is effective. A withdrawal of consent by a party is effective within a reasonable period of time after receipt of the withdrawal by the insurer. If an insurer fails to comply with §
58-1-30
, the party may treat the failure as a withdrawal of consent for purposes of §§
58-1-27

58-1-39
, inclusive.
