Right of lease holder to enter sold or leased lands

In all cases where state lands have been sold subject to the reservation regarding coal, ores, asphaltum, metals, and mineral rights referred to in §
5-7-3
and in all cases where such lands have been leased for agricultural, meadow, pasturage, or other purposes, pursuant to the provisions of law, the holder of any lease subsequently issued thereon may nevertheless enter upon the same and prospect thereunder.
