Confidentiality of proposals

Until a proposal is accepted, the drawings, specifications, and other information in the proposal remain the property of the person making the proposal. The purchasing agency shall make reasonable efforts to maintain the secrecy and confidentiality of any proposal and all information contained in any proposal and may not disclose any proposal or the information contained in a proposal to the design-builder's competitors. The purchasing agency may not disclose, except as may be permitted pursuant to chapter

, confidential and proprietary information contained in any proposal to the public until such time as the purchasing agency takes final action to accept a proposal.
