Affected person's right to be heard--Resolution adopting or rejecting proposal--Review, publication, and effective date of adoption--Election

At any public hearing held pursuant to §
46A-10A-39
, any affected person may appear and request or protest the requested change. The board or commission shall thereafter by resolution either adopt or reject such change, modification, or repeal and, if it is adopted by the board or commission, a summary shall be prepared by the board or commission, shall be reviewed by the state's attorney, shall be published once in the official newspaper in the county and shall take effect on the twentieth day after its publication. The provisions of §
46A-10A-25
are applicable hereto.
