Results of election to determine length of term

The results from the initial election for trustees shall determine the length of term each trustee shall hold. The candidate with the most votes shall be elected for a three

year term, the candidate with the second highest vote total shall be elected for a two
-
year term and the candidate with the third highest vote total shall be elected for a one
-
year term. The term of office for a trustee elected at a succeeding election shall be three years or until the trustee's successor has qualified.
