bearing animals may be hunted, caught, taken, trapped, or killed by the holder of the license provided by §
41-6-23
, or by a person specifically exempted from obtaining a license during seasons prescribed by the Game, Fish and Parks Commission. The commission may set the extent of the seasons by rules to that effect adopted pursuant to §
41-2-18
. However, the season on fox and coyote shall be open the year around west of the Missouri River and open the year around on coyote only east of the Missouri River.
