An individual who is a nonresident of this state and on active duty in the armed forces of the United States, as defined in § 58-33-117 , may annually purchase one fall three-day temporary nonresident waterfowl license, applicable to any unit for which temporary nonresident waterfowl licenses are otherwise issued. An individual purchasing a license in accordance with this section must present a valid military identification card and obtain a federal migratory bird stamp and a migratory bird certification permit. A license issued pursuant to this section is valid only on private land. The Department of Game, Fish and Parks shall limit the number of licenses available for purchase each year, in accordance with this section, to one hundred. The Game, Fish and Parks Commission may not include that number when placing any other limitation on the number of licenses that may be issued.
