There is created a policy advisory committee for animal damage control consisting of the secretary of the Department of Game, Fish and Parks, the supervisor of the wildlife damage management program, the secretary of the Department of Agriculture and Natural Resources or the secretary's designee, and one representative from each of the following organizations: (1) South Dakota Cattlemen's Association; (2) South Dakota Farm Bureau; (3) South Dakota Farmers Union; (4) South Dakota Landowner and Outfitter Alliance; (5) South Dakota Sheep Growers Association; (6) South Dakota Stockgrowers Association; (7) South Dakota Wildlife Federation; and (8) United Sates Department of Agriculture Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service - Wildlife Services. The committee shall review animal damage control activities and provide recommendations for controlling animal damage in this state. The committee shall meet at least once a year.
