Law enforcement officer not liable for damages in stopping vehicle

Any law enforcement officer described in §
40-20-24
or surety on his official bond is not liable for any damages claimed to have been incurred by reason of any injury to such livestock, loss of time, shrinkage, or any other similar damage.
