Community paramedic--Protocols and supervisory standards--Patient care plan

A person who holds a community paramedic endorsement shall practice in accordance with protocols and supervisory standards established by the board in accordance with §
36-4B-35
. A person with a community paramedic endorsement may provide services as directed by a patient care plan if the plan has been developed by the patient's primary physician, an advanced practice registered nurse, or a physician assistant, in conjunction with the medical director of the ambulance service.
