Demonstration of competence required--Variation by board

By a unanimous vote of the Board of Examiners of Psychologists an applicant for licensure as a psychologist may be required to demonstrate competence in only three of the four substantive areas of study referred to in the definition of a program in psychology in §
36-27A-1
. This is contingent upon the applicant submitting a satisfactory proposal outlining how he intends to remediate the deficiency in the fourth substantive area.
