- examination required after lapse of license. Any licensee who does not renew his or her license for two consecutive years because of sickness or other reason, or absence from the State of South Dakota, must take the examination as prescribed for an applicant to become a licensee and comply with all the provisions hereof, applicable to any applicant to become a licensee.
